Hello, I have been reading FLB for ten years now. I started when I was about 17 and the first one I ever read was Violet and Claire. I have to say that my fav is the Weetzie Bat stories. I found Necklace of Kisses and have read it multiple times. I love her writing style and she is such an inspiration to me as a writer. I have trouble finding her books at Barnes and Noble and was wondering if anyone has found her work at maybe Half Price Books?? I have Pretty Dead, Echo and Necklace of Kisses and want to collect all her books. K thanks :)

I have found her work at Half Price Books, but where I received most of my FLB books from was paperbackswap.com, they have a ton! and it's recycling :)

I like Dangerous Angels, which is a collection of all of the Weetzie Bat books (except Necklace of Kisses)

they're hard to find, but i've found her books at half price books. and when all else fails, go to half.com. if you're looking for several of her books, find a major reseller on half.com and you'll be able to get a bunch for much less than the retail price for a reasonable shipping price.

i don't have a favorite so much as several i love.

echo and violet & claire are two books with passages i wanted tattooed on me. i love wasteland and the hanged man and girl goddess #9. and psyche is a dress is wonderful, too.

i like all the dangerous angels books, i think i just relate to the characters in the aforementioned books better.

I love Echo and V&C I haven't read Wasteland and I loved the Hanged Man. The part about champagne and ice cream was so erotic! And girl goddess #9 was awesome too. I have a lot of books to catch up on!!

I've bought all of my FLB books from 1/2 priced books and amazon. I have a serious addiction to 1/2 priced books. Whenever I'm in the States I go crazy and stock up, spending a bit of money and leaving with shopping bags of reading. Literally. It's so nice to see other people love the place just as much.

never heard of 1/2 price books-will definitely check it out but here are some other suggestions

Barnes and Noble will order any FLB book for you and hold it for quite a long time-giving you chance to pick it up at your convenience. Just ask the checkout person. As far as prices go-check your local used book store, of course. I found a brand new hardback copy of an FLB book for 7 dollars and they agreed to hold it for me until the first of the month.
Good Luck!
